Strengthening resilience in the times of polycrises

The EUNICE Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on Strengthening resilience in the times of polycrises offers students a unique chance to learn about resilience, security, preparedness and crisis management.

Join us to explore resilience through theory and field-based learning, starting in Helsinki with Finland’s comprehensive security model. You’ll visit the Finnish Parliament, government agencies, and NGOs. Then, in Vaasa, you’ll study community resilience in collaboration with the city and the Ostrobothnia region. The course includes discussions on situational awareness, disaster risk, sustainable transformation and intelligence ethics, enhancing your understanding of societal responses to complex challenges.

The course is coordinated by the University of Vaasa (Finland) and partner organisers are Karlstad University (Sweden) and Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Seftenberg (Germany).

As keynote speaker the course offers Prof. Jan Goldman from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina.
