A FOR-EU Newsletter has been launched to disseminate the outcomes and good practices of the alliances

Coordinators of the 44 alliances of the European Universities initiative met in Brussels on 6th March, in an event hosted by the European Commission at the Albert Borschette Centre, to address the work in progress and the issues and good practices emerging from the initiative. The meeting was chaired by Vanessa Debiais-Sainton and José-Lorenzo Vallés, Heads of Higher Education at the European Commission. EUNICE was represented by Paweł Śniatała its General Coordinator, and Mariusz Głąbowski, Management Coordinator, both professors from Poznań University of Technology (Poland), who shared EUNICE’s practices in branding management and European universities’ networking.

The agenda included an update on European policy developments as well as the monitoring framework for the European Universities initiative. A special mention had the investment pathway for European Universities post 2027, a topic that demonstrates the strong intention of all Alliances to continue in time understanding this process as a deep transformation that is here to stay.

Part of the discussion was about communication actions around the outcomes of the alliances and closer cooperation among alliances and between alliances and their ecosystems. As an example of good practice, was highlighted the recent creation of a network of communication and dissemination of the Alliances, which currently works on a series of joint publications: the FOR-EU Newsletter was launched and will be published every three months, open to the participation of all the alliances through their Communication Coordinators.
