Numbers have spoken and we are delighted with the student satisfaction survey results from EUNICE’s first course, “Introduction to Global Studies”. Survey results show that all the students who completed the course and obtained the certificate would recommend it to their peers. The course teaching staff, formed by professors from the different universities of the alliance plus two teachers specialised in globalisation, from ARAID and the University of Zaragoza (Spain), received the highest rating from 94% of the students.
The course content materials and the teaching methodology also received a very high score, close to 90%. The results show that 87% of the enrolled students feel they have remarkably improved their knowledge in intercultural competences and globalisation. Learning activities carried out in groups, made up of students of different nationalities and teachers from different universities, have made the course a highly valued intercultural experience.
At EUNICE, all courses are assessed with a student satisfaction survey through which students can rate a wide variety of aspects such as the information about the course, enrolment procedures and dates, content materials and teaching staff, teaching methodology, topics and organisation.
The aim of continuous monitoring the courses through surveys is to improve and adapt EUNICE’s offer to the needs of the students, as a way to advance towards our aim of “customised education”.
