The EUNICE International Internship Portal has included a new feature for students to find opportunities to carry out their PhD theses or curricular final projects in any of the EUNICE destinations, whether they are bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral theses. This new feature fosters networking for research collaboration
EUNICE just included the International Research Theses section on its International Internship Portal, where students will find international mobility opportunities to develop their theses or curricular final projects abroad. Thanks to this new feature aimed at enhancing collaboration among the EUNICE student and researcher networks, EUNICE students will be able to carry out either a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral thesis abroad, at EUNICE University Departments, Faculties and Schools.
At this stage, over 100 professors and researchers from different fields of study have offered their willingness to host bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. students.
Benefits for the entire academic community
- For EUNICE students: the access to EUNICE alliance’s laboratories with research topics that are not available at the home university; the support from International Relarions Offices for international mobility procedures for building customised internships. The “EUNICE Label” adds value to the thesis project and offers broader post-graduate opportunities.
- For EUNICE researchers and professors who join this new opportunity: an international working environment in their research lab, privileged access to EUNICE tools and innovation portals, potential recruiting of bright and motivated minds for their research projects, and research networking opportunities between home and host thesis supervisors.
This Theses section means an enhacement of the International Internship Portal, that was launched in February 2022 and includes over 200 companies, research centres, NGOs and other institutions located in seven countries within the EUNICE alliance – with the aim of promoting international internships.
