University of the Peloponnese (Greece) announces its Strategic Plan for the period 2024-2027

The University of the Peloponnese, a multidisciplinary university in Greece and one of the most recent additions to the EUNICE European University, has announced its Strategic Plan for the period 2024-2027. The Strategic Plan articulates the vision of the university and summarises its priorities and broad actions, as the improvement of te internationalisation of studies, while serving as a guide to improve effectiveness within the current challenging environment marked by increasing numbers of universities internationally, technological developments as well as fiscal constraints.

This Strategic Plan is the means to implement University’s main objectives which are the continuous upgrade of the quality of its teachers and research activities, the reinforcing of extroversion and the connection with the business and the labour market, actions that lead to the recognition and upgrade of its prestige both nationally and internationally.

In particular, the strategic plan of the University of the Peloponnese is recorded in the following directions:

➔ Upgrade of academic activities.
➔ Strengthening academic research.
➔ Linkage between society and the labour market – Exploitation of research results.
➔ Improving internationalisation of studies and extroversion.
➔ Refining the quality of the university environment.

With this strategic plan, the University of the Peloponnese accelerates its development path, aspiring to be one of the important factors in the field of higher education in the coming years in Greece and Europe.

By appreciating the achievements and obstacles of the past, while also recognizing the challenges of the future, the academic community of the University strengthens its presence by releasing an essential positive imprint at a regional, national and international level based on its own deliberate choices and concerted endeavors.
