Finalist selection phase for EUNICE Imagine Innovation Cup –a competition of business plans- just started at several EUNICE universities. Local teams representing each university will be selected for the final, to be held at the University of Catania, Italy, in June
The local phase for EUNICE Imagine Innovation Cup, a start-up and business plan competition within the alliance, just started. In this first phase, the teams representing each university in the final competition will be selected within the following months under each institution’s own criteria. Those local teams, one from each university, will present their idea, plan and/or product in the final competition, that will be held in person at the University of Catania (Italy) in June 2023.
The winners of the EUNICE Imagine Innovation Cup will have the opportunity to participate in a special internship programme. This prize will consist of a 7-week internship at partner companies, a period in which the winners will be able to improve and test their business idea in different European contexts.

This event was called ‘Start Cup Day’ and consisted of a generic presentation of EUNICE as a European university alliance and the specific announcement of the EUNICE Imagine Innovation Cup and its local phase. So, the ‘Start Cupt Day’ at PUT was also officially the kick-off the competition for the best start-up in the fields of ‘Smart City’, ‘Use of renewable energy sources’ and ‘General improvement of people’s lives and the environment’. this way, organisers took advantage of this event to encourage PUT students to create start-ups and to offer mentoring support.
