The POLISH FOR BEGINNERS course aims to provide students with knowledge and understanding of:

  • The basic structures and functioning of the Polish language.
  • Fundamental vocabulary and grammar needed for everyday communication.
  • Strategies for understanding simple spoken and written texts and extracting key information.
  • The principles of Polish pronunciation and basic phonetic features.
  • Essential aspects of Polish society, culture, and everyday life.
  • Culturally significant factors that influence communication and social interactions in Poland.

Timetable:

Online- self-study, first meeting synchronous, online 05.11.2026 6 p.m. GMT+1
Overall number of hours: 50 (2 synchronous, 48 asynchronous)

  • EUNICE student: enrolled as a student or working as staff member in one of the universities of EUNICE European University consortium (check its members here)
