A Shared Vision for Europe’s Green and Digital Transition
EUNICE AISBL signed a Memorandum of Understanding with EIT RawMaterials, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aiming to support the development of skills and talent in the raw and advanced materials sectors.
EIT RawMaterials is a key European actor driving innovation in the field of materials, with a mission to build the largest raw materials network powering Europe’s green transition and addressing critical workforce shortages and skills gaps in order to align with EU strategic priorities.
Contributing to the European Materials Academies
These initiatives are part of broad EU efforts to strengthen Europe’s leadership in advanced materials innovation. By joining forces, EUNICE and EIT RawMaterials are on a journey to explore synergies between universities, industry, research institutions, policymakers, and regional stakeholders.
The Secretary General of EUNICE AISBL, Magdalena Sikorska, highlighted that:

This agreement reinforces EUNICE’s commitment to be an active contributing actor in Europe’s green and digital transition by connecting education, research, innovation, and industry. It also strengthens the Alliance’s engagement with major European innovation ecosystems, supporting the development of a new generation of highly skilled professionals capable of addressing strategic industrial and societal challenges.
