EUNICE European University Board of Directors met in Brussels on 26 February to deliberate a wide a range of strategical matters pertaining to the institution’s governance, academic offerings, funding, and mobility initiatives.
One of the focal points of EUNICE is to maintain high standards of education and to foster knowledge growth. In this context, the meeting featured in-depth discussions on academic issues, including the examination of the current academic offer, criteria for proceeding with educational plans, lifelong learning strategies, and pedagogical innovation.

Additionally, sessions on funding and mobility initiatives provided valuable insights and strategies to support EUNICE mission and objectives. “Among other objectives, EUNICE University aims to enhance student mobility, foster international collaborations, and create opportunities for cross-cultural exchange,” explains Maxtalen Llosa, Chair of EUNICE Board of Directors, “and by strengthening partnerships EUNICE and its stakeholders seek to empower its students and faculty.”

Acknowledging the importance of student engagement, the Board addressed the involvement of students in the university’s governing bodies. Their perspectives, ideas, and aspirations are integral to shaping EUNICE’s future. By actively including students in decision-making processes, the institution aims to create an inclusive and dynamic environment.
