On 3 June 2026, the EUNICE community is invited to come together for EUNICE Run Day, a joint initiative promoting wellbeing, connection, and an active lifestyle across the alliance.

Students, academic staff, and non-academic staff from all EUNICE universities are encouraged to participate in this special event by joining a walk or run challenge in their local area.

Participants can choose their preferred distance:

  • 5 km – ideal for walkers, beginners, and anyone looking to enjoy the experience at their own pace;
  • 10 km – for those looking for a more challenging route;
  • 21 km (Half Marathon) – for experienced runners ready to go even further.

At the Instituto Politécnico de Viseu (IPV), participants will gather at the Ecopista de Viseu at 18:00 for an inclusive outdoor activity open to everyone.

More than a sports event, EUNICE Run Day is an opportunity to strengthen the sense of belonging within our European university alliance, encouraging healthy habits while connecting members of the EUNICE community across different countries.

To make this initiative visible across all partner universities, participants are strongly encouraged to:

  • join the Strava group “EUNICE Running Club” and upload their activities there

Sharing runs in the group is essential so that the EUNICE alliance can collect activity records, celebrate participation across countries, and create visual content from the event.

Participants are also invited to share photos and moments from the day on social media to showcase the EUNICE spirit and community engagement.

Whether you walk, jog, or run, the goal is simple: move together, stay active, and celebrate EUNICE together.

Join us on 3 June and be part of this shared European challenge!
