EUNICE job opportunities in Spain (3 positions)

EUNICE (European University for Customised Education) is a 10-university alliance within the framework of European Commission’s European University Initiative. EUNICE aims to deepen cooperation among the members, to promote mutual exchanges and virtual mobility, to educate in European and global values, to strengthen the links between research and education, and to involve in the project other nearby public and private agents or stakeholders, which will also benefit from knowledge transfer.

The University of Cantabria (UC) is one of the EUNICE partner members and is seeking three different staff profiles:

1.- EUNICE Project Officer at University of Cantabria

Responsibilities:

  • Technical, administrative, and financial coordination and supervision of EUNICE and its projects in all phases of implementation at UC, as well as preparation of reports.
  • Coordination of the EUNICE office at UC.
  • Organisation of local and international meetings with key stakeholders, as well as information activities and events.
  • Market studies, surveys, and polls to analyse needs and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Spanish nationality or that of a member country of the EU, or being from any of the states in which, the free movement of workers is applicable (international treaties by the EU and ratified by Spain).
  • 2-year relevant professional experience. Experience in Universities, especially with Erasmus+ funded projects, is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences (MSc and PhD will be positively evaluated) + motivation letter.
  • Spanish C2 and English C1.
  • Availability to travel abroad.

2.- EUNICE Communication Officer at University of Cantabria

Responsibilities:

  • Planning the communication strategy of EUNICE and its projects and the action plans to develop it.
  • Coordination of the implementation of the communication plans and campaigns of EUNICE, and of local communication with the UC Communication Service.
  • Preparation of communication results reports.
  • Representation of the communication team in EUNICE’s working groups and projects.

Requirements:

  • Spanish nationality or that of a member country of the EU, or being from any of the states in which, the free movement of workers is applicable (international treaties by the EU and ratified by Spain).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences (MSc and PhD will be positively evaluated).
  • Spanish C2 and English C1.
  • 2-year relevant professional experience in the field of communication and dissemination activities. Experience in Universities, especially with European funded projects, is an advantage.
  • Availability to travel abroad.

3. EUNICE Administrative Manager at University of Cantabria

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative management of EUNICE activities and projects in the UC and interlocution with other UC departments/services, students, and academics.
  • Organisation of local and international meetings with key actors.
  • Support in the organisation of information activities and events, in the planning and implementation of polls and surveys, and in the development of proposals to attract funding for EUNICE.
  • Preparation of information for the technical and financial reports of EUNICE and its projects.

Requirements:

  • Spanish nationality or that of a member country of the EU, or being from any of the states in which, the free movement of workers is applicable (international treaties by the EU and ratified by Spain).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences (MSc and PhD will be positively evaluated) + motivation letter.

Type of contrat: temporary

Job status: full-time (37.5 h/week)
